“The result was an upbeat, jazz-infused song that washes over you like a rising tide”
- Huffington Post, review of “Plastic Bird”, single from Carbon

“As it innovatively contends with urgent themes, Carbon lives in the liminal space between pop, jazz and neo-soul, combining dense harmonies and exploratory melodic ideas, Kate Bush-like ethereal pop production and the mellow sultriness of neo-soul into a musical fingerprint of Sirintip's own.”
- Downbeat Magazine, 4 star review of Carbon

"...jazz harmonies, Thai drums, electronics and singable pop all mixed together to often startling effect"
- WNYC Soundcheck

“…together, [Phasuk & League] somehow make music that’s upbeat and irresistibly dance-y, but also with a hint of something darker and edgier”
- Weekly Roundup

Sirintip is an award-winning experimental Swedish-Thai singer, composer, and advocate for sustainability. Blending pop and jazz, her innovative use of effect pedals has taken her around the globe, performing with artists like Snarky Puppy, Mark Guiliana (David Bowie), and Benny Andersson (ABBA), and opening for Wayne Shorter at the Polar Music Prize. She was a finalist in the Thelonious Monk International Competition and is featured on over 30 recordings. Known for integrating eco-consciousness into her art, including solar-powered shows, Sirintip inspires sustainable living through her music.

Coming off of her critically acclaimed 2022 release, carbon, Sirintip introduces her most innovative work to date, "MYCELIUM". This captivating interdisciplinary musical suite, was born from a five-year artistic research odyssey, and intertwines the wonders of fungi and plankton with the power of music and storytelling. Mycelium, the intricate underground network of fungal organisms, inspires a journey of interconnectedness and hope, mirroring the unseen bonds between humanity and nature. Through collaborations with trumpeter/composer Danny Jonokuchi (Lady Gaga), visual designer Nitcha Tothong (Lumen Prize Award Winner) and dancer Marie Lloyd Paspe(Bill T. Jones), MYCELIUM merges science and artistry, incorporating data sonification, lyrical storytelling, and captivating visuals. This performance, accompanied by an ensemble of nine musicians (Ben Wendel, Zach Brock, Kalia Vandever), invites audiences to delve into the unseen world of microorganisms, fostering a sense of wonder and empowerment amidst environmental challenges.

Additionally, Sirintip performs regularly as an electronic duo with drummer Nolan Byrd (Lady Gaga, Brian Newman). Together they create an electrifying performance blending jazz with electronic elements, danceable grooves, weaving in moments of catchy pop hooks and spontaneous improvisation. Their collaboration pushes the boundaries of their instruments and genres, offering an immersive experience that is both rhythmic and explorative. Sirintip and Nolan have toured with Sungazer across the U.S. and have also performed eco-conscious solar-powered shows further highlighting their commitment to innovation and sustainability in music.

Sirintip has appeared at major music and arts festivals and notable venues, including Metropolitan Museum, Guggenheim Museum, Norton Museum (Florida), The Jazz Gallery, the 55 Bar, Nublu, the Stone, Wave Hill Public Gardens, National Sawdust, WNYC Radio, Paste Magazine, WBGO Jazz Radio, NYC Winter Jazzfest, DC Jazz Festival, GroundUP Music Festival, Winnipeg Jazz Festival (CA), Stockholm Jazz Festival (SE), Copenhagen Jazz Festival (DK), Wonderfruit Festival Thailand (TH), Nobel Museum, Stockholm’s Concert Hall, National Theater Bangkok, Tivoli Vredenburg, and O2 Academy Bournemouth, among other diverse and celebrated institutions.

Her music and artistic collaborations have taken her across the world, touring and performing with Snarky Puppy, Mark Guiliana, Benny Andersson, Robert Sput Seawright, Mark Letteri, James Francies, Antonio Sanchez, Evan Marien, Ghost Note, MonoNeon, Paris_Monster, Becca Stevens, Kate McGarry, Tyshawn Sorey, Elliot Moss, Emily Estefan, Magda Giannikou, Rodney Whitaker, Carl Allen, Vincente Archer, Michael Mayo, Sungazer, Henrik Linder, Nils Landgren, André Ferrari, Ann Sofi Söderqvist, Ale Möller, Sousou Cissoko, Isabella Lundgren, Filip Jers, Kristin Amparo, Linnea Henriksson, Owen Broder, and Thana Alexa.

As a composer, Sirintip has been asked to twice compose musical interpretations of Nobel Prize nominations at the Nobel Museum in Sweden, arrange for the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Swedish Radio Jazz Group lead by trombonist Nils Landgren as well as score a 102 minute long film score for Arthur Conan Doyle's “Lost World” from 1925 which was premiered in nineteen Alamo Drafthouse Movie Theaters around the US on February 27 2022.

Sirintip’s voracious curiosity and high-level musicianship have garnered international grants, awards, and recognition from such distinguished outlets and institutions as Chamber Music America, New York State Council of the Arts, New York Foundation for the Arts, the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, The Royal Academy of Music (Stockholm), among countless other distinctive honors. She is also an Ableton, TC Helicon, and Earthquaker Devices artist.

Her philanthropy work goes back to 2010 when she organized her first festival as a nineteen year old to fight racism in a rural small town in the southern part of Sweden. From there, she founded a series for the Stockholm Jazz Festival called “Contemporary Artists On Stage”  bringing up-and-coming Swedish artists to the international scene. During the 2020 Covid 19 Pandemic, she co-founded the “Live From Our Living Rooms” alongside Thana Alexa & Owen Broder where they together over the course of three virtual festivals raised over $140,000, distributed in the form of 100 relief grants and paid performance and education opportunities to nearly 160 artists in a time of need. Live From Our Living Rooms were announced by Rolling Stone as the “First Jazz Festival of the Quarantine Era”.
