She’s a powerhouse rockstar born out of the soul of southwest TN. She has recorded and produced her 5 song self-titled EP with 2x ACM award winning, Grammy nominated, Jonathan Singleton and Ben Simonetti and it is out now.
About the EP:
Recorded at Nashville’s Welcome to 1979, Kyndle Wylde’s self-titled debut embraces what made “those old records” so special: a band in a room, a singular voice, cut live to tape. Written through the clarity of loss, she fused her own blend of raw Memphis soul and bold Nashville grit to turn her grief into Tennessee gold. Preaching from the pulpit she was raised on, she soars in the gospel-tinged “Higher” and struts like a Rolling Stone through the vintage swagger of “Give Me Your Love”. Wit delicate power she sails over tracks like “You and Me”, written about her 15 year relationship with her co-writer and band mate, Adam Gowdy, and “Love Is A River”, which highlights the complicated nature of that long term creative love affair. With this EP, Kyndle casts her ballot into the pantheon of great soul singers by pulling from those same southern waters and proving that some rivers never run dry.
